Feeling before form
Every work begins with an emotional state — not a visual idea. The geometry emerges from the feeling, not the other way around. If we cannot feel it, we do not make it.

Scarcity as respect
Every edition is limited to 50. Not as a marketing tactic — but as a promise. When a work sells out, it is gone. This is how we honour the people who collect us first.
These are not rules we follow. They are the beliefs we cannot make art without. Every artwork in the Pencil Spark collection is built on all four — or it does not exist.

Precision with purpose
Eleven years in pharmaceutical science taught us that precision is not the opposite of emotion — it is its vessel. Every line, arc, and tangent is placed with intention.

From molecules to meaning.
Sachin Sathawane spent eleven years as a pharmaceutical scientist — measuring, formulating, testing. Precise work in service of healing. But something was missing.
In 2025 he made the transition fully into art. Not away from science — through it. The geometric vocabulary of his work comes directly from a mind trained to find pattern and precision in everything it touches.
Pencil Spark is where that precision meets feeling. Where a formula becomes a form. Where a scientist becomes an artist — and discovers they were always the same thing.
