Overview
 
Silent Transmission explores an invisible signal moving through a visible environment. The artwork combines an abstract architectural scene with the metaphor of a transmitted force, allowing the composition to be experienced simultaneously as a landscape and as a visual representation of energy, radiation, sound, or frequency.
 
Project Description
 
The work is built around three conditions: before, transmission, and after.
The upper environment represents a state before the event, structured, illuminated, and stable. A thin green line passes horizontally through the composition, representing the silent transmission itself. Below it, the environment becomes darker and altered, suggesting what remains after the signal has passed through.
The exact nature of the transmission remains intentionally undefined. It may suggest radiation, energy, sound, frequency, or an unknown signal. This ambiguity allows the visual scene and its metaphor to exist together without requiring a single interpretation.
 
Visual Narrative
 
The upper section presents an abstract architectural environment. Vertical structures rise from a deep blue atmospheric field, while warm yellow and ochre surfaces suggest illuminated buildings.
At the centre, a thin green line creates a precise horizontal division. It can be perceived as a horizon, a transmitted signal, a radiation band, or a frequency travelling through space.
Below the line, architectural forms reappear in darker and altered configurations. They echo the structures above without becoming direct reflections, suggesting a transformed environment following the transmission.
The composition therefore moves from stability, through transmission, toward transformation.
 
Neuroaesthetic Approach
 
The artwork establishes a clear visual hierarchy through horizontal division, repeated vertical forms, and a highly distinctive accent line.
The deep blue upper atmosphere creates a spacious visual field, while yellow and ochre introduce warmer areas that naturally attract attention. The thin green line creates a strong point of contrast because it differs from the surrounding colour relationships in both hue and scale.
The darker red-brown tones below the transmission introduce a perceptible change in visual weight and atmosphere. This upper-to-lower contrast helps the viewer recognise the transition between two states.
Repeated architectural structures provide visual predictability, while the altered lower forms introduce variation. The balance between repetition and change encourages the eye to compare the two environments and notice the transformation.

Silent Transmission uses minimalist geometric abstraction to make an invisible event perceptible through its visual consequences.
The architecture provides a recognisable environmental framework, while the thin green line introduces the conceptual element of transmission. Rather than attempting to depict energy, sound, or radiation literally, the artwork represents the presence of an invisible force through the changes it produces.
The dual reading is intentional. The work can first be experienced as an abstract architectural scene and then understood as a metaphor for transmission, transformation, and invisible connection.
