Project Description
 
Light and shadow are never fixed. They constantly reshape the way we experience space, revealing new relationships between colour, form, and atmosphere.
Liminal explores this quiet transformation through minimalist abstraction. Layered geometric planes overlap, separate, and reconnect, creating depth without perspective and movement without narrative. Rather than depicting a physical place, the artwork investigates the visual dialogue between illumination and darkness, allowing atmosphere to emerge through balance, transparency, and spatial composition.

Visual Narrative
 
Broad vertical forms divide the composition into distinct fields of cool blue, deep charcoal, and vibrant magenta. Although each colour possesses its own visual presence, they remain connected through overlapping layers and soft transparency.
The dark central column creates a moment of visual stillness, while the surrounding colours expand outward, establishing rhythm and movement throughout the composition. Fine linear elements introduce precision, contrasting with softly blended edges and reinforcing the relationship between geometry and atmosphere.
