Perception

Perception explores one of the most fundamental characteristics of human consciousness: we do not experience reality in its entirety, we experience what our attention selects.

Using minimalist geometric abstraction, the artwork transforms this psychological process into a visual experience. The composition is dominated by a quiet architectural structure, yet the viewer's attention is immediately drawn to a single contrasting element. In doing so, the artwork demonstrates rather than illustrates its central idea.

As part of The Inner Cosmos, Perception invites viewers to question whether what they see reflects reality itself, or simply the parts of reality their minds have chosen to notice. It encourages a deeper awareness that beyond every immediate impression lies a much larger world waiting to be observed.
